Who we are

This website is operated by Blackrock Digital Creative (Private) Limited (“Blackrock”, “we”, “us”), a digital agency based in Harare, Zimbabwe. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website. We handle it in line with the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] of Zimbabwe.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

• Enquiry form: your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, and your message.
• Call-back requests: your name, phone number, preferred call time and topic.
• WhatsApp, Messenger, email or phone: whatever you send us through those channels. Those services are run by their providers under their own privacy policies.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking pixels on this website, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry or call you back.
• To prepare proposals and quotes you have asked for.
• To deliver and support services if you become a client.

We will not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. We’ll only send you marketing if you ask us to, and you can stop it at any time.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you:

Some of these providers may process data outside Zimbabwe. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate security safeguards. We will disclose information to authorities only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months so we can follow up and refer back to past conversations, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the work and our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to enquiries is limited to Blackrock staff who need it to respond to you.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your information, or stop using it for a particular purpose;
• stop contacting you.

Email info@blackrockcreative.co.zw and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Authority (POTRAZ).

Cookies

This website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, which is why we don’t show a cookie banner. Our hosting provider may set a small number of strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site against abuse. These don’t identify you personally and are exempt from consent.

Links to WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, X and LinkedIn take you to those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies.

If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
